Wi-Fi Mobile Phones: Data access, Internet, everything without wires

Bluetooth has very short range and so it can only work in a small area like a room and one cannot transfer data beyond that area whereas Wi-Fi handsets can transfer data from one floor of an apartment to another floor. The Bluetooth transfer speed is very slow around 800kbps whereas Wi-Fi transmission speed is around 54Mbps which is much faster. Hence, Wi-Fi handsets transfer data at a much better speed than Bluetooth enabled devices.
